Er. Dr. S.
Sundaramoorthy
A Ph.D holder in Environmental Engineering from
the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai with Gold Medals in
Ph.D as also in Master's Degree in Public Health Engineering from
the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai. He has hands on experience
for 8 years between 1970 and 1978 when he headed the Kodungaiyur
Sewage Reclamation Research Station of the Govt. of Tamilnadu at
Chennai for field testing in pilot plants using activated sludge,
trickling filters, physical & chemical treatment, waste stabilization
ponds, sludge digestion, maturation ponds, fish culture, anerobic
contact filters and aerated lagoons for recovering drinking grade
water from raw sewage of Chennai and also similar laboratory studies
for tannery effluents and distillery effluents. Based on his studies,
he later on initiated and got commissioned the sewage renovation
plants employing biological treatment, chemical treatment and reverse
osmosis technologies in the Madras Fertilizers for 17500 cubic meters
per day and in the Madras Refineries for 12500 cubic meters per
day for recovering cooling water from secondary biological treated
sewage in 1992. He has also assisted in the engineering services
in the 7200 cubic meters per day sewage renovation plant built by
M/S Hyundai at Basin Bridge for recovering cooling water from raw
sewage. He has risen up to Engineering Director in the Govt. of
Tamilnadu and has served as consultant to British High Commission,
India and UNIDO, Vienna on STPs and Tannery ETPs. He has experience
in ETPs of chemical industries, textiles, tanneries, machine shop
wastes & electroplating shop wastes. He is an examiner for Ph. D.
candidates.

Er. D.Sreenivasan
A degree holder in Electrical Engineering from
University of Mysore and Post Graduate Diploma holder in Management
studies from University of Bombay with 30 years of hands on experience
in water, sewage and industrial effluent treatment plants, he has
to his credit the distinction of carrying out the complete electrical
and instrumentation from concept to commissioning as the contractor's
representative for Asia's first advanced sewage renovation plant
at Chennai for 12500 cubic meters per day including, biological,
chemical and reverse osmosis components completed in 1992. He has
to his credit over 100 treatment plants and is a consultant to UNIDO
Southeast Asia Regional Office for Tanneries and certain industrial
houses.

Er. D. Harsha
A degree holder in Civil Engineering from REC, Warrangal and MBA from BITS, Pilani with 35 years experience in civil engineering and heavy machinery works in industrial and township infrastructure in BHEL in which he rose to Additional General Manager before retiring in 2004 and is now a freelance consultant and academician in Bharatiyar University. Has distinguished himself in construction of 11 coastal desalination plants and honoured with BHEL Corporate Excel Award for outstanding contribution in Environment, Society & Sports, Best Engineer Award for 2003 from IEI and Innovator award from Tiruchirapalli District Exnora for outstanding work in Environment and representing Institution of Engineers (India) in World Earth Summit at Johannesburg, South Africa during 2002.

Er. M. K. Amirdhalingam
A degree holder in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, with 41 years experience in Public Works Department, Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board and Tamilnadu Urban Development Fund of the World Bank and dealt with surveying, design, estimation, tender document preparation, procurement of works & consultants, supervision and O&M. Distinguished himself as by continual monitoring and correcting water quality of 18,000 water tanker trips daily when the city piped water supply was shut down for rationing the meager water sources due to monsoon failure and was referral officer in for the advanced R O plants of 17.5 mld and 12.5 mld for M/S MFL and MRL at Chennai for recovering drinking grade water from city sewage in 1989-1991.

Er. Dr. V.K. Ganesh
A degree holder in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University with 15 years of experience in research, teaching and product development at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Engineering Staff College of India, Institute of Materials Research & Engineering, Singapore & National University of Singapore. Distinguished himself with developing nanofiber based membrane filter for defense application, designed and supervised fabrication and installation of FRP pipe for largest desalination plant in South East Asia. Has a number of patents to his credit. Was honored with Outstanding Researcher Award in the year 1999, by National University of Singapore for the development of stiffness gradient composite material and Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors Merit Award of Singapore in 2003. Serves as technical expert to a number of companies. Merited with state first rank in school followed by best student award. Has wide business travel experiences in south Asian region.

Er. Dr. S. Saktheeswaran
The youngest member of the team with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from India and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and a Doctoral degree in Environmental Engineering from UK. He has experience in the treatment of various kinds of Industrial effluents including zero liquid discharge systems. He has worked in the tannery effluent treatment plants in Tamilnadu and demonstrated for the first time in India a tannery effluent in colorless clarity with no foul odor and with a BOD/COD/SS of 10/100/15 mg/l. He also possesses experience in the treatment of sewage to industrial grade water. He is also an environmental auditor certified by EARA, UK
