Project Project Management Consultants for ETP upgrade for Ammonia removal
Role Consultants for the following services

1. Study of existing practices of in-house generation of effluents
2. Effluent sampling, analysis and reasoning out optimal raw effluent quality
3. Comprehensive literature survey of Ammonia removal
4. Review of reported performance of similar facilities in the region
5. Laboratory treatability study for biological nitrifiction
6. Laboratory batchscale optimization studies and establishing kinetics
7. Evaluating available equipment technologies for retrofit to existing ETP
8. Defining reconfiguration of the aeration reactor to near plug flow regime
9. Evaluation of the options for equipments retrofit
10. Presentation to client the alternatives
11. Preparation of tender documents and evaluation of received tenders
12. Interactions with client, civil and equipment contractors & PC Board
13. Supervision of construction, trail run, test run and commissioning
Status The assignment started in October 2000 and the reconfigured ETP is commissioned in October 2002
Result The results of laboratory treatability as under are achieved in the ETP
