On-Site Eco-Friendly sewerage, treatment and reuse for AIDS hospital

Status of the sewage system and the defunct pond at the Institute of Thoracic medicine at Chennai which also houses the patients inflicted with AIDS syndrome. The untreated sewage meanders through open lands and seeps into ground. The US Consulate at Chennai came up with the offer of meeting a feasibility study for rehabilitation of the institution and as a part of it, M/S CEC was retained by them to carry out a feasibility study of total treatment and reuse.

Status Status The Financial closure for this scheme is being pursued by the hospital
