DPR, Tender call and Project Management of Zero Liquid Discharge in 4 CETPs at Tirupur

Ground Breaking Ceremony and Bhoomi Puja at the Mannarai CETP, and Karaipudur CETP on August-22-05 marking the epoch making and historical launch of World's first Zero Discharge Plant of Textile effluent CETPs whereby, 85 % of effluent will be recovered as tap grade water and 15 % volume will be recovered as salt solution without the Ca and Mg for direct reuse in dyebath and thus ensure the complete elimination of discharge into the environment. The technology herein incorporates a unique Oxidation-Reduction process whereby the spent dye contents are chemically debonded without precipitation of any sludge thereof and resulting in sparklingly clear treated water fit for feed to spiral R O membranes after ultrafiltration and activated carbon filtration. The rejects from the final stage of RO membranes is put through brine purification and brine polishing and thus the entire volume is reused besides eliminating the dependency on thermal evaporators and solar ponds which otherwise are sources of environmental concerns by way of metal corrosion &aerosols

	2. Tender document preparation to World Bank norms
	3. Processing Tender calls in global website
	4. Negotiations with tenderers
	5. Preparation of DPR for funding agencies
	6. Negotiations with funding agencies
	7. Inspection and certification of equipments and off-site deliveries
	8. Certifying specific alignments of high speed centrifuge systems
	9. Interactions with client, civil and equipment contractors & P C Board
	10. Supervision of construction, trial run, test run and commissioning








Status	The assignment started in April 2004 and is to be commissioned in August 2007
