Project To identify and furnish a natural system for upgrading the existing pond for sewage
To identify a nature based Phenolic effluent management system
Role Consultants for the following services

1. Study of existing practices of in-house generation of effluents
2. Effluent sampling, analysis and reasoning of optimal raw effluent quality
3. Survey of existing pond and dimensional documentaion
4. Validation of available flow records and flow measurements notches
5. Treatability studies using acclimatizaed sludge for phenol effluents
6. Establishing the optimal ratio of Phenolic effluent to sewage
7. Evaluating mechanised vs non-mechanised phenolic effluents
8. Defining reconfiguration of pond system to upgrade to increased load
9. Developing retrofit with existing pond system for hydraulics
10. Developing the optimum depth of the enhanced pond systems
11. Discuss with stautory authorities on the natural blended phenol treatment
Status Assignment started in February 1999. Sewage pond upgrade is completed. The phenol effluent pond system integration is to be commissioned.
Results The treatability simulation for the Phenolic effluent yielded the following results:
