The assignment started in June 2001 and
was successfully completed in July 2001. |
| Results |
The study identified the distinct possibility of taking
in the nearby city sewage to the extent required and
its treatment to yield a clear, odourless and pathogen
free water of uniform quality of water as against drawing
underground water from nearby river basin which is not
perennial and which has a very shallow aquifer of limited
depth.
